I love creating bespoke libraries of textures and pattern to use in my book artwork- as collage elements or to create new texture layers for backgrounds.

This practice has evolved from photographic elements (taken on my first digital camera back in 2006), to scanned in textures and fabrics, to more handmade textures and patterns in more recent books.
